Let´s Celebrate Carnaval!

On Thursday afternoon, CEIP Garcilaso de la Vega celebrated Carnaval with a celebration of films. Both students and teachers came to school dressed up as characters from different films and everyone looked great!

Each grade came dressed up with a different movie as the theme. The 1st grade came as characters from the movie The Box Trolls. 2nd graders came dressed up as Pirates of the Caribbean. The 4th grade students from The Bear. And the 5th and 6th graders as Charlie Chaplin and characters from the movie Hugo.

Our third graders came dressed for the classic film, The Wizard of Oz with lions, tigers and bears, oh my! Check out the great costumes our students wore to celebrate Carnaval.

Everyone had a wonderful time at the school celebration which lasted all afternoon. The party was the perfect way to start the long weekend. We hope you have a fantastic Carnaval weekend too!
